facilities based on the government concept to support families with children. However, there are no specific guidelines for planning baby rooms. As a result, a number of non-user-friendly and uncomfortable baby rooms are provided in some facilities. The objective of this research is to formulate a set of design guidelines for baby rooms. 5 surveys: field surveys on baby rooms (n=44), questionnaire surveys for users (n=605), observation surveys on users&#8217; behavior (n=1,085), interview surveys for specialists (n=11), and questionnaire surveys for facilities&#8217; managers (n=42) were conducted from 2010 to 2016. Based on these surveys from the various points of view, we analyzed the data to identify the problems, and then set guidelines for designing baby rooms, including: location, size, zoning, line of movement, interior design, lighting and other This study investigated whether such controllability of MW mediates the effect of the mindfulness-based intervention (MBI) on depression. Since the MBI, which instructs participants to be aware of the occurrence of, and their engagement in, MW, might bias self-reports of MW, a measurement method that does not rely on subjects&#8217; verbal report is needed. Therefore, we estimated MW intensity using one-second electroencephalogram (EEG) samples and a machine learning model developed previously. We recorded EEG before and after MBI, and observed fluctuations in mind-wandering during a 14-minute meditation and quantified the three types of MW trait. The magnitude of the change of depressive symptom and ability to shift attention from MW were correlated. This MW trait is a plausible mediator between MBI and
